DoWhat Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the DoWhat iOS app, also known as 不想待办, operated by DoWhat. It explains how the app handles information and how you can manage your data.
1. Information handled by the app
DoWhat does not require an app account. The current version does not include advertising, advertising tracking, or third-party behavioral analytics SDKs. It does not upload your tasks or timer records to servers operated by us.
To provide task management, scene filtering, timers, and statistics, the app stores the following information on your device:
- Task names, estimated durations, assigned scenes, sticky note colors, and completion status that you enter or select.
- Scene names, the current scene, available time, daily time budgets, and preferences such as appearance, sound, and haptics.
- Timer start and end times, accumulated time, completion records, and historical records used for statistics.
- Local state used to restore the interface and link scenes to Focus modes.
This information is used locally to provide these features. Task and scene text may contain personal information you choose to enter. Please decide what to record according to your needs.
2. Local storage, history, and deletion
Task and statistics data is stored locally within the app. The app does not provide its own cloud service for syncing data across devices. Apple may handle system backups or device migration according to your system settings; these are separate from real-time syncing within the app.
You can edit or delete tasks and scenes in the app. Deleting a task does not automatically remove existing timer and completion history. Task names in historical records may remain available for statistics. To protect saved data, the app may retain copies of original files when a file is damaged or migrated. Deleting an individual task does not remove it from each of these copies.
To remove app data from this device, choose “Delete App” in iOS settings rather than “Offload App,” which retains documents and data. iOS manages system backups, shared containers, and system display caches. To also remove copies held in backups, manage those backups using Apple's available controls. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription or delete transaction records held by Apple.
We cannot remotely read, export, or delete task and statistics data stored only on your device. The current version does not provide an in-app option to clear all history at once or export data.
3. Apple purchases and membership status
Membership purchases, payments, renewals, and purchase restoration are handled through the Apple App Store and StoreKit. On your device, the app reads verified purchase entitlements provided by Apple, such as product identifiers, subscription expiration dates, and revocation status, to determine whether membership features are available. The app also caches membership status locally.
The app does not access your bank card information, payment password, or complete Apple Account credentials. Information Apple processes for purchases, refunds, and platform services is governed by Apple's policies. Apple may also provide developers with sales and financial reports through App Store Connect; these platform reports do not contain your task or timer content.

4. Widgets, Live Activities, and Focus modes
Widgets read the snapshots needed for display from an app shared container on the same device. These may include task names, scene names, estimated or accumulated time, membership status, and appearance preferences.
When Live Activities are enabled, the current task name and timer state may appear on the Lock Screen and, on supported devices, in the Dynamic Island. The current version updates Live Activities on the device and does not use developer-server push updates. People nearby may be able to see this information. You can remove widgets or turn off Live Activities in iOS settings.
Focus mode integration and Shortcuts use the scene identifiers you configure to switch scenes. Scene names such as “Home” or “Computer” are categories you define; they do not mean that the app obtains GPS location. The current version does not request access to location, the camera, microphone, photos, or contacts.
5. Feedback and external websites
When you choose to email us, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you send. We use them to reply, provide support, or handle privacy requests. You do not need to include your full task list, payment credentials, or information unrelated to the issue.
We delete feedback information after the issue has been resolved and the information is no longer needed. If applicable law requires continued retention, we retain only what is legally required. You may use the contact email above to request access to, correction of, or deletion of feedback information we hold, or to withdraw consent for further optional processing. We may need to verify the requester's identity appropriately and will handle requests within the periods required by applicable law.
When you open the privacy policy, terms, or another external webpage, the website and its hosting provider may process IP addresses, browser information, and access logs to serve the page, subject to the actual website's disclosures. Opening a link does not automatically send the app's locally stored tasks to that website.
6. Sharing, protection, and data transfers
We do not sell your task data or use it for cross-app advertising tracking. Sharing of tasks and statistics is limited to the app, widgets, and related system features on the same device. Apple handles purchases, and the email services you choose handle email support communications. We do not proactively provide your feedback content to other third parties unless you expressly request it, the appropriate authorization is obtained, or applicable law requires it.
The app uses the iOS sandbox, system-provided access isolation, and local storage mechanisms to protect data. No storage method can guarantee absolute security. Please protect your device unlock credentials and manage device backups appropriately.
Depending on where their services operate, Apple services, email services, and website hosting services may involve processing in different regions. We currently do not transmit your task or statistics content through our own servers.
7. Minors
The app is a general-purpose personal productivity tool. Minors should use it under a parent or guardian's guidance, with the parent or guardian managing purchases and external feedback. If you believe feedback includes information about a minor that should not have been provided, please contact us.
8. Policy updates and contact
If future versions add cloud syncing, analytics, or other information-processing features, we will update this policy, explain changes, and obtain any consent required by applicable law. Information handling in the current version is described in this policy and reflected in the app's actual features.
